Activities
TRIUMPH engages in activities aimed at rallying technical, material and financial support for the fulfillment of the organizational mission as stated in our 5-yearStrategic plan (2019- 2023). The plan helps the organization to harmonize activities, and avoid contradictions and duplication of efforts in the process of working with different stakeholders to fulfill its mandate. It is envisaged that the plan will galvanize unity and cohesion among the different stakeholders for a concerted approach to Sustainable development for persons with psychosocial disabilities.
So our activities are to focus on Inclusive support, fostering, mentorship, charitable, health education,Awareness raising and sensitization Campaigns to promote health (SRHRs) and mental health well-being and dignity of a person, setting up of Mutual support group across gender TRIUMPH conducts community education activities for all ages on issues about mental health using different approaches like; community dialogue sessions for community leaders and family members, radio talk shows, Mobilize and build caregivers/family support groups. Train these care givers in Rights ,Home Based care and Recovery approaches.,Peer Led health talks for family members
Provision of Psycho-social support services is done through mutual support group meetings, different Peer-Led models like: Peer Support, offering psycho social support and psycho education by expert peers during hospital visits and home visits
Raising Self-Advocates and Peer Educators among the Adolescents and youth.
Training Psychological First Aid in Partisanship with UPDF, to health service providers from village level, Peer support groups, family members, community leaders, teachers, Armed Forces and their communities.
Capacity building, Mentoring and Leadership development and Advocacy through Music,dance,drama , Creative Art and crafts
Alternatives in mental health management exploration and documentation.
